The Weber School District Board of Education will hold a boundary study hearing on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the BoardRoom at the District Office, 5320 S. Adams Ave., Ogden, UT 84405. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the boundary study district committee’s proposals and recommendations regarding the creation of attendance boundaries for three new schools: West Field High School, Mountain View Jr., and a yet-to-be-named elementary school. These new schools are set to open for the 2024-2025 school year. The public will have the opportunity to comment on this matter.
The Weber District Board of Education opened a boundary study in November 2022 to create the attendance boundaries for these new schools. As part of that process, current school capacities were studied to determine the best way to alleviate crowding at schools while populating the new schools. This may result in modifications to current school boundaries.
Patrons interested in offering public comment during the board meeting may sign up electronically or at the door, prior to the meeting, utilizing the sign-up sheet provided.

Weber School District honored with three commendations this year for having the best of the best statewide
This week the State of Utah presented the U-RISE award to Weber School District’s Mike Evans in our maintenance department.
This award is the third statewide commendation this year to go to Weber School District: Utah Superintendent of the year Jeff Stephens, Utah Teacher of the Year Mark Daniels, and now the U-RISE recipient Mike Evans.
We think our school district is amazing, but when officials in the Governor’s Office as well as the Utah State Board of Education take notice of our great people and programs, it is a proud moment.
This triple-crown achievement for Weber School District in 2021 is shared with all those who are part of a great organization that do amazing things every day for children. When we all work together to put children first in each decision, everyone wins. It’s the Weber Way.
