The WSD Calendar Committee met recently to consider several possible calendars for the school year of 2023-2024. School Administration, district administration, parents, PTSA, WEA, classified employees and teachers were included and allowed to give input at that meeting.

Additionally, these final calendar choices were sent to the schools and employee groups to allow them to obtain input on the local level.

Based on that input, the committee would like to recommend to the Board the attached 2023-2024 calendar for consideration and approval on a first reading

  • Teacher Contract Days - August 17,18
  • Professional Development  - August 21, 22 October 23, January 12
  • 1st Quarter - August 23 - October 26 (46 Days)
  • 2nd Quarter - October 30 - January 11 (45 Days)
  • 3rd Quarter - January 16 - March 15 (44 Days)
  • 4th Quarter - March 18 - May 24 (45 Days)
  • Comp Days - November 22, February 16, March 29
  • First Day of School - August 23
  • Last Day of School - May 24
  • Fall Break - October 12, 13
  • Thanksgiving Break - November 23, 24
  • Winter Break - December 21 - January 1
  • Spring Break - April 1 - 5
  • National Holidays - September 4, January 1, January 15, February 19

Weber School District is excited to invite families of students in grades 3-6 to attend an amazing and informative coding night with Skill Struck. Skill Struck is the computer science program that is being introduced in the elementary schools. Instruction will be provided in both English & Spanish.
