West Weber Elementary is located in western Weber Country. The school has Kindergarten through 6th grades as well as a community pre-school. Currently there are approximately 460 students enrolled at West Weber with 24 teachers and 17 members of support staff. Nearly all of the students are bussed to and from the school. Many of the students that attend West Weber are 4th and even some are 5th generation students, their parents, grand-parents and even great grand-parents have attended the school.
West Weber currently has the oldest structure in Weber School District. Part of the building was built in 1928. When you drive by the school you can still identify the old building by looking at the paned windows and intricate brick work on the façade. There have been several additions to the building since to bring it to its current look. It is still nice to look out the back doors at corn fields and Clydesdale Horses in the pastures behind the school.
