Dr. Rod Belnap is the CTE Director in the Weber School District and is in his 29th year in education. He has a Bachelors Degree from Weber State University, his Masters degree from Utah State University, and a doctoral degree from the University of Utah. He is a charismatic, energetic, passionate, visionary leader that loves education and cares about students. He taught Business/Marketing, English, and Driver Education in the secondary schools. He was also a head basketball coach and DECA advisor at Bonneville High School. He has been an assistant principal in both junior high and high school, the principal at Sand Ridge Jr. High and Fremont High School. Rod was the Human Resources Director for the district before his current role at CTE Director. Rod realizes the inherent opportunities for connection and relationships as well as application that exist in CTE and CTSOs in particular. Student and employee recognition enhances student achievement and creates a rich moral and innovative learning culture. Educating the whole child is reaching the heart of students. Preparing students to be successful is of great importance whether it is through increased opportunities in Concurrent Enrollment, forging collaborative professional learning in PLCs, or developing both hard and soft skills that will ensure success in the future... these are the opportunities we have in education. He feels passionate about putting kids first and creating opportunities for all students to extend learning while supporting those who might not get it the first time. Rod is married to Gina and has 4 children. He loves his family, the mountains, the outdoors, fly fishing, concerts/music, and friends.

John Donley grew up in a small rural town in South Dakota. He came out to Utah to attend Brigham Young University where he earned a B.S. in Technology Teacher Education. Later on he attended Utah State, earning a M.S. in Engineering and Technology Education, and Western Governor’s University where he earned a M.S. in Educational leadership. He taught Technology and Engineering classes in Weber School District for 10 years at both the junior high and high school levels. He has been a CTE Coordinator for the past 5 years at the Weber Innovation Center. John loves working with the teachers to create a better educational system for the students. Outside of work he loves spending time with his family and he loves being outdoors. His family is always looking for their next outdoor adventure.

Chad Marriott completed his K-12 schooling in Weber School District. Chad furthered his education at Utah State University receiving a B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology Education, a M.S. Degree in Engineering Technology Education and completed his Administration and Supervisory Certification. In 2003 Chad was able to start his educational career teacher in Weber School District at Orion Jr. High. Then he had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Principal at the Jr. High and High School level in Weber School District before taking a position as a CTE Coordinator. Chad is currently working as the Coordinator at the school he graduated from Fremont High School, Go Silverwolves! Chad loves his family, outdoors and seeing progress in technology practices in agriculture and construction, loves seeing students develop skills to be successful in the areas they are passion about.
Becky Sagers

Currently serving as a district program coordinator for the K-12 Education and Training, Family and Consumer Science, Health Science, and College and Career Awareness programs.
Becky has a B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Science (FACS) Education from Brigham Young University, a M.A. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and is pursuing a M.S. Ed. in Educational Administration. She has taught Technology, Life & Careers, FACS Exploration A & B, Apparel Production and Design, Foods and Nutrition 1 & 2, Food Service, Human Development and ProStart 1 & 2.
Becky’s leadership experiences include serving as a FACS department head, a member of the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) FACS advisory committee, new FACS teacher trainer, serving on the board of the Utah Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Science (UATFACS) and currently serving as a state board member for the career and technical student organization Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
Becky has received the Weber School District’s I Love Teaching award and the Weber District Teacher of the Year award in 2015.

Melissa grew up in the Ogden Valley attending Valley Elementary, Snowcrest Jr. High, and Weber High School. She furthered her education at Weber State University earning her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer. Melissa started her teaching career at Ben Lomond High school (2005-2008) before returning to Weber High School, only this time as a Health Science teacher. Melissa was the CTE Coordinator at Bonneville High school starting the 2021-2022 school year and is now the Coordinator at Weber High School. Melissa loves traveling with her family to warm, sunny, tropical places, and attending her daughters' sporting events as well as local high school and college games!

Trevor is a homegrown product, proud to have been educated by the many great teachers at Roosevelt, T.H. Bell, and Bonneville. He received a Bachelor of Arts Business Composite degree from Southern Utah University and a Master's in Educational Leadership. He started his career in sunny St. George teaching 7th graders, then taught Business/Marketing courses at Weber High School. Coaching football and track, while working with FBLA and DECA. Trevor has worked as a coordinator since 2019 working at Weber High School and Weber Innovations.
Outside of school, you can find Trevor playing with his wife, Laura, and two boys outdoors in some sort of sporting activity. Not camping!
If you ever need a 4th for your golf tournament, Trevor is great for a good long drive.
Never turns down a meeting with a good lunch.

Bill Grilz came to Utah from southern California in 1978 to play football and Rodeo at Weber state. Bill was employed with Weber school district in 1983 at T H Bell junior high school where he worked 16 years. He has been an assistant principal and principal at South Ogden High School, Principal at Rocky Mountain Junior High and secondary supervisor for the district for 36 years. He currently serves as the Work Based Learning coordinator. Bill and his wife Marla have three daughters and four grandchildren.
