Important Update: Bus Route Changes Due to Road Work
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you of a temporary change in bus transportation due to road work in the Liberty area. This work will affect the routes of Bus #1415, driven by Lora Gamble, and Bus #131, driven by Steve Kendell.
Key Changes:
Students from both buses may be reassigned to accommodate the route change.
For those assigned to Lora Gamble's Bus #1415 and residing on River's Edge, 3775 E., and 3800 E., your new bus stop will be at Liberty Park. After thorough investigation, the Transportation Department determined that Liberty Park is the safest option for the new stop.
Lora will also start picking up for the two stops in Eden Hills.
Important Instructions:
Lora will park on the northside of Liberty Park, approaching from the east. Please ensure that there is enough room for the bus to turn around safely.
It would be helpful for parents to leave the space in front of the garage empty so she can turn around.
We suggest carpooling for those whose bus stop will be at the park to help minimize congestion and ensure ample space for the bus.
Ensure that the bus has safely turned around and parked before students approach it.
During drop-off, the bus will turn around before allowing students to disembark.
Additional Information:
Please be patient as we adjust pick-up and drop-off times. There will be an adjustment period.
We will be sending a note home with students whose bus stop location or pick-up/drop-off times have changed. If your child does not bring home a note, we encourage you to still look at the Bus Stop Locator to ensure we didn't miss an update.
The Bus Stop Locator has been updated with accurate information. Please check this link to see details for your student. If your home is a newer build, your address may not be properly coded for the Bus Stop Locator.
If you have questions about your student's bus assignment or times, please reach out to our transportation department at 801-476-7930.
The road work is expected to continue into the summer; therefore, these changes will remain in effect for the rest of the school year. The new bus assignments and route changes will start on Monday, March 3.
Your cooperation and patience during this unexpected change are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Dear Parents,
It’s that time of year to finalize registration for your kindergartener! You should have received an email from Weber School District with a link to Enrollment Express which gathers pre-registration information. If not use the following link to access the Kindergarten Pre-Registration Form. rmd.me/RHpp2ez1zeT. Please fill it out if you haven’t done so.
We are thrilled to welcome your little one into our school community and embark on this wonderful journey of learning and growing together.
We will be holding registration on:
-March 26, 2025
-1:00-3:00
-Open House
Required Documents:
To enroll your child in kindergarten, we request the following documents:
-Birth Certificate: Your child's original birth certificate is required for age verification. (we will make a copy for our records)
-Immunization Records: Up-to-date immunization records are mandatory for enrollment.
-Proof of Residence: Please provide 2 current proofs of residence; i.e., utility bills (gas and/or electric), drivers license (if the address is listed on the license), lease agreement or contract as proof of residence.
-Guardianship Documents: If applicable, legal guardianship documents should be submitted.
As a reminder, in order to meet the age requirements for kindergarten in Utah, your child must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1st. Additionally, with the passing of HB 331, beginning on May 1, 2024, students are required to be toilet trained before being enrolled in kindergarten.
We are excited to offer a full-day kindergarten option to all our students as well as a half-day option to accommodate the needs of our families. Here’s a brief overview of each program:
Full-day kindergarten: Students attending full-day kindergarten will follow a schedule equivalent to the other grades in the school. They will receive comprehensive instruction on the state-approved standards in all content areas, including the arts, PE, and library.
Half-day kindergarten: Students attending either a half-day kindergarten class (which requires at least 19 students) or a half-day kindergarten option within a full day kindergarten class will attend school for part of the day as determined by individual schools and will receive instruction that prioritizes the state-approved standards for the content areas of English language arts and mathematics as required by R277-730. Please note that midday transportation will not be provided for those attending half day kindergarten options.
Although you may register a student for kindergarten at any time, for planning purposes, we have established April 18, 2025 as a cutoff date for priority registration to determine what type of options will be available. Please be prepared to fill out a questionnaire at registration to indicate your kindergarten program of choice. Once that deadline passes, you will be notified of the options that your neighborhood school will be offering. You will then be provided more details on schedules and other pertinent information.
We want to assure you that all kindergarten students will be invited to participate in class parties, after school events/activities, and field trips, ensuring a rich and engaging experience for your child.
We understand that this is an important decision for your family, and we are here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions or need assistance with the registration process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you,
Crystal Deamer
