Description

An exploratory course designed to create an awareness of career possibilities in the field of biotechnology. Students are introduced to diagnostic and therapeutic laboratory procedures that support bioscience research and practice. Students will learn about biochemistry, DNA structure, gene expression, protein synthesis, recombinant DNA strategies, etc. They will perform many experiments like those done in modern research settings.
