Professor Word is a service that can help students learn new SAT and ACT vocabulary words. Professor Word operates as a browser bookmarklet in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. When you're reading a web page, click on the Professor Word bookmarklet to quickly identify SAT and ACT vocabulary words on that page. You can also use Professor Word to get definitions for any unfamiliar word on a webpage. To get a definition just highlight the word a small dialogue box containing the definition will appear.
Knoword is a fun and challenging game that tests your ability to match definitions to words. You're presented with the first letter of a word, its part of speech, and the definition. You then have to fill in the correct spelling of the word. If you enter the correct word, you earn points. If you don't get it right, you lose points. Signing up lets you track your points and earn badges based on your performance.
This is a dictionary for American Sign Language, and contains common words and phrases accompanied with videos demonstrating how to sign them.
This web site is designed to help you identify and call out dodgy logic with a list of the most common logical fallacies. From red herrings to strawmen, this is a useful site to improve one's debate skills.

The game is still in development, but an alpha download is available for free.
I appreciate this opportunity to work in Weber School District as Assistant Superintendent. Let me introduce myself: I’m Kevin Sederholm and I have worked for the district for 29 years. I started with the district as an elementary teacher. I taught at Pioneer, Valley, Country View and Bates Elementary. I’ve taught every grade in elementary except for kindergarten. I then became a principal and worked at Kanesville, Pioneer, and Bates. I’ve been the Human Resource Director for the past six years. Weber School District has always been my home--going through as a student myself (my wife Kelly is also a product of WSD), to raising our six children within the district’s education system. I have truly enjoyed my career thus far and look forward to new experiences.
As the Human Resource Director I have the unique opportunity to work with and see many other districts. I have worked with these districts recruiting, comparing different policies and procedures, and resolving different personnel issues. As a result of these interactions I have come to appreciate our district immensely. We work with good people! We have employees who work tirelessly on behalf of our students in every department. Weber School District parents get involved with our schools and help their children to succeed. These are people who always put our students’ best interests first. As a result, we have a great district, but also a district that we will continue to try and improve. Again, I look forward to working with you as we all strive to make our children’s education the best it can be.
