Accountability
Accountability is taking responsibility for our actions and outcomes. When we are accountable, we realize that all actions have consequences (both positive and negative) and we accept our role in those consequences. When a mistake is made, being accountable means doing what you can to fix the problem and make amends. When we are accountable for our actions, trusting relationships can be built with family, friends, and teachers. Below you will find resources you can use at home to help teach this important skill to your child.
